In a word, the Future is, of all things, the thing least like eternity. It is the most completely temporal part of time - for the Past is frozen and no longer flows, and the Present is all lit up with eternal rays...Gratitude looks to the past and love to the present; fear, avarice, lust, and ambition look ahead.
-C.S. Lewis, The Screwtape Letters
Daddy,
thank you for planting seeds of peace! please water and grow them into something beautiful. You are Awesome! thanks you for growing me even though it's scary and hard sometimes. thank you for giving me the strength to be a leader and giving me the words to speak. You are a miraculous God :)
in Jesus' mighty name
amen
I know now, Lord, why you utter no answer. You are yourself the answer. Before your face, questions die away. What other answer would suffice? Only words, words; to be led out to battle against other words.
-C.S. Lewis
4Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. 6We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
10In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
1 John 4:4-6, 10-12

"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness..." (John 8:12)
Acts 3
You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. By
faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made
strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has
given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.
so painful. is this pruning or chopping.
7"Hear, O my people, and I will speak;
O Israel, I will testify against you.
I am God, your God.
8Not for your sacrifices do I rebuke you;
your burnt offerings are continually before me.
9I will not accept a bull from your house
or goats from your folds.
10For every beast of the forest is mine,
the cattle on a thousand hills.
11I know all the birds of the hills,
and all that moves in the field is mine.
12"If I were hungry, I would not tell you,
for the world and its fullness are mine.
13Do I eat the flesh of bulls
or drink the blood of goats?
14Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving,
and perform your vows to the Most High,
15and call upon me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me."
16But to the wicked God says:
"What right have you to recite my statutes
or take my covenant on your lips?
17 For you hate discipline,
and you cast my words behind you.
Psalm 50:5-17

-God is bigger than us

-God cares about/judges the heart not the actions.
-don't be legalistic

Sad things :(
Idols and anxiousness
Happy things :)
We are workers approved by God (2 Tim. 2:15)
It is God's gift to enjoy our toil (Eccl. 5:18-19)
God takes away our reasons to boast so that He is glorified, not us (1 Cor. 1:28-29)
And it is okay that we have not yet been made perfect (Phil. 3:12)
praise God for learning curves because people who are different wouldn't get along without them :)
